Program Overview:
Modern information technologies and the advent of machines powered by artificial intelligence (AI) have already strongly influenced the world of work in the 21st century. Computers, algorithms and software simplify everyday tasks, and it is impossible to imagine how most of our life could be managed without them. However, is it also impossible to imagine how most process steps could be managed without human force? What will the future world of work look like and how long will it take to get there? Will the future world of work be a world where humans spend less time earning their livelihood? Also a possible scenario for the new world, a world where robots, intelligent systems and algorithms play an increasingly central role?
What is already clear and certain is that new technical developments will have a fundamental impact on the global labour market within the next few years, not just on industrial jobs but on the core of human tasks in the service sector that are considered ‘untouchable’ And job opportunities for those who have the ability to solve problems in various fields of industry and services using artificial intelligence, will grow more every day.
In this program you will learn what Artificial Intelligence (AI) is, explore use cases and applications of AI, understand AI concepts and terms like machine learning, deep learning and neural networks. You will be exposed to various issues and concerns surrounding AI such as ethics and bias, & jobs, and get advice from experts about learning and starting a career in AI.
This course does not require any programming or computer science expertise and is designed to introduce the basics of AI to anyone whether you have a technical background or not.
